As a genral surgen and fellowship trained in pancreatoheapatobiliary surgery, it is my goal to do more than just perform surgery. I believe in providing you with the very best options for healthy living through minimally incasive surgery. I offer state of art surgical treatment with less pain and shorter recovery time and a more aesthetically acceptable scar. I believe that the care of patients begins with compassion and seeing every patient as an individual.

This office provides the full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient complex surgical care using both traditional open and newer advanced laparoscopic robotic techniques.

I’ve had a long interest in the multidisciplinary management of patients with benign and malignant diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and also all types of hernia.
I moved to be in the San Jose and Los Gatos medical community to provide the highest quality of general surgery and surgical oncology to your patients since 2009.

I believe in providing you with the very best options for healthy living through minimally invasive surgery. I offer state of the art surgical treatment with less pain, shorter recovery time, and a more aesthetically acceptable scar. I believe that the care of patients begins with compassion and seeing every patient as an individual.
This office provides the full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient surgical care using open and newer advanced laparoscopic Robotic techniques. I’ve had a long interest in the multi-disciplinary management of patients with benign and malignant diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and also all types of hernias.
I graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1992. I finished my residency at Ohio State University Medical Center and my fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I moved to the San Jose & Los Gatos medical community to provide the highest quality of general surgery and surgical oncology to our patients since 2009.
I served as Chief of Surgery at El Camino Hospital and Vice Chief of Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. I established my practice in the South Bay and share my office with my wife who is a primary care physician. I enjoy spending my free time gardening in my backyard, hiking with my family, and traveling.
